Heirloom Tomato Jam

A robust, rich and hearty jam can do wonders for your favorite toast, crackers, cheeses and soups. It also pairs perfectly with filet mignon or crispy fried/baked calamari. We think you will agree, this one is extra flavorful and simple to make.  


2/3 cup organic cane or palm sugar

cinnamon stick

2 tsp. fresh gingers, minced

1/8 tsp. ground cloves

1 (16 oz.) Organic Blended Heirloom Tomatoes Recommended: Yellow Roman or Orange Strawberry 

Sprinkling of red chili flakes 

Combine all of the ingredients in a stainless steel sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Simmer for forty minutes. Take the cinnamon stick out after fifteen minutes (unless you want a stronger cinnamon flavor). Cool over night for flavors to develop.
