As a fourth-generation farmer, I set out to create small-batch healthy and tasty products with my family’s organic produce. I want to honor the past and celebrate the future by using my grandma Stella’s Armenian recipes passed down through generations. Each blend has a unique flavor, and can be used ounce-for-ounce in any recipe that calls for fresh or canned tomatoes. It’s like a ripe & juicy heirloom tomato in a jar. Balakian Farms is not only an occupation, but also a way of life.

In our blended heirloom tomatoes, we keep all of the tomato juices, giving our product more versatility in the kitchen. More juice means better taste and higher nutrient value. When cooking, it is recommended that you reduce to your desired consistency. This not only intensifies the flavor but it also brings out all of the natural sweetness from the heirloom tomatoes.
